You referred to this as 'a rare serious note'. Since this is in its infancy, it's not terribly rare. In fact, by my count 25% of your blog is horribly depressing and about death, while the other 75% is just straight depressing. Bah-zing! And you can't have a 'serious note' while comparing his death to a Monty Python skit. "Heaven - Now twice as depressing now that Eliot Smith has someone to play with!"
I added the "ex-parrot" bit this morning, when clearly his death was funnier than it had been the night before, when I found out he was no more.
As for you, you can't on the one hand criticize me for claiming a serious note isn't rare if it's one of only four posts while on the other hand claiming the note isn't serious because I made a reference to Monty Python.
Speaking on behalf of everyone here at the site, please stuff yourself into an incinerator as soon as possible.
